Amy Rivers is the Director of Admissions at Baptist Hospital for Women and Children. She has been with Baptist for over 20 plus years. Baptist’s mission is keeping with the three-fold ministry of Christ- Healing, Preaching and Teaching so it is no wonder Amy’s vision is the same…”love abounds so that God can do the impossible”. Amy was born and raised in Memphis, TN where she attended a private Christian school. After graduating she got her first job at St Joseph Hospital overseeing the Information Desk. It was during this time that she realized her true calling: helping others. This experience molded and lead her to many areas of serving whether it be at her
church, homeless shelter, etc. When Amy is not working, she is cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
